Career & Leadership 3- Month Accelerator
Being an effective professional requires mastering three domains of skillsets:
Technical: the expertise that you have developed to create tangible organizational outcomes
Interpersonal: your ability to create successful working relationships with teammates, clients, and stakeholders, including navigating organizational cultures and norms that are often invisible at first
Intrapersonal: your ability to create and enact a form of self-leadership that supports you in remaining adaptable and focused during challenging times
Anyone can use courses and workshops to learn the technical skills to become better at their jobs. Where people often get stuck is in creating effective work relationships (interpersonal) and developing a focus that supports real-time learning and effectiveness in the job (intrapersonal).
If you are ready to have interpersonal and intrapersonal breakthroughs to get to the next step of your career, then it’s time for you to step into the Career & Leadership 3-month accelerator.
This accelerator is designed to teach you how to integrate one of the most researched leadership models, transformational leadership, into your professional work.
Transformational leadership combines a focus on producing the best results with seeking to bring out the best in one’s self and others, whether the others are those that we lead or those that we work alongside. Strengthening one’s transformational leadership style has the potential to support one’s pre-existing leadership styles.
This 3-month accelerator focuses on the four main components of transformational leadership.
Month 1 — Idealized Influence & Individualized Consideration
Research shows that one of the antecedents of being a transformational leadership is developing a mindfulness practice that is aligned with one’s unique set of leadership qualities, and developing a practice of demonstrating a combination of genuine care and orientation towards results. Clients walk away understanding:
How to build and begin to practically integrate mindfulness into their leadership practice,
Their unique set of strengths that characterize their leadership,
How to create realtime mindset shifts to empower others.
Month 2 — Inspiring Motivation
Transformational leaders learn to create and identify compelling visions of the impact that they wish to have. By creating one’s own vision and understanding the visions of others, they set themselves up to generate motivation, and to support others to generate intrinsic motivation. Clients walk away understanding:
Their vision for making a difference,
How to identify the difference that others seek to make, and identify possible barriers to understand others,
How to navigate conflict and tension.
Month 3 — Intellectual Stimulation
Transformational leaders seek to resolve complex problems that often require the support of others. Intellectual stimulation is about creating a context of learning, open discussion, and problem-solving to bring out the best in teams and individuals. Clients walk away understanding:
The significance of trust in creating collaborative environments, and how to generate trust,
How to bring out the talents of their team through a growth-mindset.
